处理工艺
1 生产工艺及水质
淀粉废水主要来源于玉米淀粉加工过程中的洗涤、压滤、浓缩等工艺段，用水量由于生产设备和生产工艺的不同，约为2~8m?水/t淀粉。根据该淀粉厂水质监测结果，同时参照国内部分相类似淀粉厂的排水水质实际情况，综合考虑各种因素，确定废水处理站的设计进水水质见下表：

主要设计参数
1.格栅和集水井 格栅井和集水井为新建钢混结构。在废水进水渠道上，设置格栅井，内设机械格栅一道。格栅井结构尺寸4.0m×0.8m×4.0m。集水井结构尺寸2.5m×2.5m×5.0m。机械格栅一台，栅宽700mm，格栅倾角60℃，功率2.2KW。配螺旋输送机1台，直径260mm，功率2.2KW。提升水泵流量110m?/h，扬程13.0m，功率7.5kW，2台（1备1用）。
2. 进水初沉池 采用竖流式沉淀池，几何尺寸：?9.0m×8.0m，有效水深7.5m。内有导流筒1套，规格?0.70m×3.5m。
3.调节池 尺寸?9.0m×8.0m，有效水深7.25m，调节池数量为3座，停留时间为22h，其中2座为事故池。
4.EGSB进水池 进水池的作用主要是调节池EGSB反应池进水的温度、pH值，同时也作为EGSB反应池的循环回流池。钢混结构，尺寸3.0m×3.0m×7.4m，有效水深6.9m。立式搅拌机1台，功率3.0kW；水力曲筛1套，尺寸1.5m×1.2m，间隙0.50mm。
工程评析
本工程淀粉废水的BOD/COD值大于0.4，可生化性很好，因此采用生物处理工艺是合适的，以***在尽量低的费用下，可靠地将有机污染物降到所要求的水平。厌氧工艺采用了高负荷的EGSB工艺，占地面积小，投资省。从运行结果来看，该工艺运行可靠，出水稳定达标。
